Malcolm Swanson

Malcolm Swanson is a professor of English studies at Seinan Jo Gakuin University. He currently teaches Oral English, English Discussion, and Advanced Discussion classes, as well as Presentation Skills, Multimedia English, Academic English Writing, Area Studies, and seminar classes.

Background

Malcolm Swanson was born in New Zealand in 1955. He attended Palmerston North College of Education, and became a primary school teacher in 1978. He taught in New Zealand for 9 years, before coming to Japan in 1989. He joined the faculty of Seinan Jo Gakuin University in 2006.

マルコムスワンソンは、ニュージーランドで1955年に生まれた。彼は、パーマストンノース大学の教育学科で勉強、1978年に、小学校の教師になった。彼はニュージーランドで9年間、1989年に日本に来る前までは小学校教師として働いていた。その後、2006年に西南女学院大学に勤務。

Personal

Malcolm Swanson’s research interests include computer-assisted language learning, student-centered learning, and curriculum development. His other interests include graphic design, cooking, outdoor sports (hiking, distance walking, camping, mountain biking, etc) and Apple computers.

趣味は、グラフィックデザイン、料理、アウトドアスポーツ（ハイキング、長距離ウォーキング、キャンプ、マウンテンバイク、等）アップルコンピュータが特に好き。
