JICA Participants visit

On Friday, June 18, students from Ms Tsukamoto and Mr Swanson’s 3rd year zemi classes hosted a group of 15 participants from JICA. These people came from all around the world (Ecuador, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia) for training in Kitakyushu. While with us, they learned some Japanese cultural activities, such as calligraphy, origami, Bon Odori dancing, and “kendama”. This was an excellent chance to learn more about the world while using English!
