This week, we welcomed Geksonrng and Meymey, two Cambodian students currently visiting Japan. Despite having just arrived in wintry Japan, they joined one of our Year 2 classes and gave an interesting presentation about Cambodia. Following that, our students broke into groups and gave them short presentations about Japan and its culture. It was a very fun afternoon, and it gave us a chance to celebrate all of our students taking part in “Coming-of-Age” ceremonies this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, Geksonrng and Meymey were given a tour of Kitakyushu by Year 1 members of our Golden Z circle. It was a great chance to see the city and sample some local food. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope they enjoy the rest of their visit to Japan, despite the current very cold weather!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
