\"yuki1\"<\/a>Yuki Kumagawa<\/b> has played a strong role in supporting other students,\u00a0especially younger students just beginning in our English\u00a0Department. Last year, with some friends, she formed Circle Plus [link<\/a>], a group which has been organizing support seminars for students in our school.<\/p>\n

Q1. Last year you helped start Circle Plus<\/a>. What motivated you to do that? What do you want to achieve?<\/p>\n

One day, I felt the “lukewarmth” of Seinan Jo girls… and as I was really looking forward to growing up as a human, it was so sad for me.\u00a0Then I decided to change the atmosphere by myself.\u00a0I had confidence that Circle Plus would certainly be useful. Some students thought the same thing as me, so they need it!\u00a0Now I still hope that Seinan Jo will be a NICE university\u2014not only the English Dept. but also other Departments.<\/em><\/p>\n

Q2. What experiences at Seinan have influenced and motivated you most?<\/p>\n

Going to NZ!<\/em><\/p>\n

I have had many experiences in Seinan Jo, and they’re all good for me.In particular,\u00a0going to NZ made my life change! For example, before I went to NZ, I was such a sensitive person to negative things. But I learned that the world is so big, there are so many things, I’m one of them, and I don’t have to worry anymore. This spirit \u00a0still helps me now.<\/em><\/p>\n

Q3. How will your Seinan experience help you in the future?<\/p>\n

When I was a high school student, my aim in coming here was to “grow up as a human”. So I’m satisfied with my work, but I want to do more. My experiences in Seinan Jo gave me curiosity, a sense of challenge, and good friends! I’ll keep \u00a0them in my heart.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
