Congratulations to Aika Sakisako<\/strong>, one of our 2nd year students, and the first ever to reach the Half Million Words<\/strong> mark in our Extensive Reading<\/em> programme. Students read graded readers, then take online quizzes in our Moodle e-learning system. For every quiz they pass, words are added to their total. And how much is 500,000 words? Well, if each word was one centimetre high, that would make a stack 5 kilometres high! Well done, Aika, and we look forward to presenting another award when you reach One Million Words!<\/p>\n
