Hiroshi Otani<\/strong> is a professor at Seinan-Jo Gakuin University. He has\u00a0taught English at various schools, including La Salle Junior\/Senior\u00a0High School (in Kagoshima City), Meijigakuen High School (in Kitakyushu\u00a0City) and the National Institute of Technology, Kitakyushu College (or\u00a0Kitakyushu Kosen). He has a good\u00a0knowledge of such areas of\u00a0study as linguistics, English education, and ICT education, but he\u00a0considers himself a language teacher rather than a researcher. All\u00a0through his career as an English teacher, he has put his energy into\u00a0improving \u00a0the English abilities of his students at the schools he has\u00a0been assigned to.<\/p>\n

He enjoys fishing, especially in mountain rivers in Central Kyushu, jogging\u00a0(has finished a couple of full marathon races) and recently he started\u00a0piano practice from scratch. He is currently working on “Frozen”\u00a0(beginning level version). He has found Seinan-Jo University a\u00a0wonderful place to teach English\u2014very nice students and great\u00a0English teachers.<\/p>\n
