This week, some of our 1st year students began a video-conferencing project with students from St Pius Primary School [website<\/a>] in New Plymouth,\u00a0New Zealand. As part of their Oral\u00a0English class, the students asked and answered question using Skype with the\u00a0New Zealand students. Then they taught the students some simple Japanese phrases, while the\u00a0New Zealand students taught them some Maori words. Both sides enjoyed the interaction immensely, and they will be getting in contact again in the coming months.<\/p>\n
