All of our students know Room 531 – it’s where they have studied Phonetics with Prof. Abe. However, the old cassette-based LL system\u00a0has reached the end of its life, and from next spring the room will be refurbished.<\/p>\n

The next stage for the room is as an Active Learning Centre. This will be a multimedia room that we can use in many way\u2014both with and without technology. We also hope that it’s a room where students will come to learn and study independently, using the resources we will develop for this purpose.<\/p>\n
