Originally from England, UK, Nicholas Kemp has lived in Japan for almost 25 years. He is a professor of English and director of the International Center at Kyushu International University. He has served as a judge at numerous speech contests, and this is his fifth consecutive year as a judge of the Kaname Cup Speech Contest.
