Meet the Teachers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Kris Sullivan<\/strong> \u2014 I’m from Brisbane, Australia, and have been teaching in Japan since 2005. I joined Seinan Jo in 2021 and currently teach \u7570\u6587\u5316\u9593\u30b3\u30df\u30e5\u30cb\u30b1\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3I\u30fbII\u3001\u30a8\u30ea\u30a2\u30fb\u30b9\u30bf\u30c7\u30a3I\u3001\u56fd\u969b\u30dc\u30e9\u30f3\u30c6\u30a3\u30a2\u6f14\u7fd2\u3001\u65e5\u672c\u8a9e\u6559\u80b2\u5b9f\u7fd2\u3001\u82f1\u8a9e\u30d7\u30ec\u30bc\u30f3\u30c6\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3III\u3001\u30b0\u30ed\u30fc\u30d0\u30eb\u82f1\u8a9eII\u3001\u5c02\u9580\u6f14\u7fd2I\u30fbII and \u5352\u696d\u7814\u7a76. My research interests include study abroad, Australia-Japan relations, learner identity, learner autonomy, and curriculum design. In my free time I love travelling, trying new foods, watching movies, and going to karaoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayumi Nishihara<\/strong> \u2014 I’m originally from Kitakyushu City, but I’ve lived in Fukuoka City, the USA, and Nagasaki. This year, after several decades, I have returned to Kitakyushu.  At Seinan-Jogakuin University, I teach \u82f1\u8a9e\u5b66\u6982\u8ad6\u3001\u82f1\u8a9e\u79d1\u6559\u80b2\u6cd5\u2162\u30fb\u2163\u3001\u30a8\u30c3\u30bb\u30a4\u30fb\u30e9\u30a4\u30c6\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u3001\u30d1\u30e9\u30b0\u30e9\u30d5\u30fb\u30e9\u30a4\u30c6\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u3001\u30ea\u30fc\u30c7\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u3001\u82f1\u691c\u6f14\u7fd2 etc. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis with my family and friends and visiting hot spring spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suzuko Brown-Mamoto<\/strong> \u2014 \u30a4\u30ae\u30ea\u30b9\u6587\u5b66\u304c\u5c02\u9580\u3067\u3059\u3002\u62c5\u5f53\u6559\u79d1\u306f\u3001\u82f1\u8a9e\u6587\u5b66I,II\u3001TOEIC\u6f14\u7fd2I,II\u3001\u521d\u5e74\u6b21\u30bb\u30df\u30ca\u30fcI,II\u3001\u30bc\u30df\u306a\u3069\u3067\u3059\u3002\u30e8\u30fc\u30ed\u30c3\u30d1\u3001\u6771\u5357\u30a2\u30b8\u30a2\u306a\u3069\u3092\u65c5\u884c\u3059\u308b\u306e\u304c\u597d\u304d\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malcolm Swanson<\/strong> \u2014 I’m from New Zealand and I have been living in Japan since 1989. I joined Seinan in 2006, and now I’m teaching \u82f1\u8a9e\u30d7\u30ec\u30bc\u30f3\u30c6\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3, \u30e1\u30c7\u30a3\u30a2\u82f1\u8a9e, \u82f1\u8a9e\u30d7\u30ed\u30b8\u30a7\u30af\u30c8, \u5c02\u9580\u6f14\u7fd2, \u5352\u696d\u7814\u7a76, \u5730\u57df\u30d7\u30ed\u30b8\u30a7\u30af\u30c8, and \u30ea\u30fc\u30c7\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0. In my free time I climb mountains, grow vegetables, and cook cakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaori Ota<\/strong> \u2014 My research interests include English phonetics, English teacing methodology, and English pedagogy. I’m teaching \u5b9f\u8df5\u82f1\u8a9e\u97f3\u58f0\u5b66I\u30fbII, \u6559\u8077\u5b9f\u8df5\u6f14\u7fd2, \u6559\u80b2\u306b\u304a\u3051\u308bICT\u6d3b\u7528, \u6559\u80b2\u5b9f\u7fd2\u4e8b\u524d\u4e8b\u5f8c\u6307\u5c0e, \u6559\u80b2\u5b9f\u7fd2, \u5c02\u9580\u6f14\u7fd2I\u30fbII, and \u5352\u696d\u7814\u7a76 etc. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and taking pictures of beautiful flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miki Tsukamoto<\/strong> \u2014 I have lived in Kitakyushu since I was born. I joined Seinan Jo Gakuin University in 2012 and currently teach \u30b0\u30e9\u30de\u30fc\u30b3\u30f3\u30dd\u30b8\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u3001\u6559\u80b2\u30dc\u30e9\u30f3\u30c6\u30a3\u30a2\u6f14\u7fd2\u3001\u5730\u57df\u30d7\u30ed\u30b8\u30a7\u30af\u30c8\u3001\u82f1\u8a9e\u6559\u79d1\u6559\u80b2\u6cd5I\u3001\u6559\u80b2\u306b\u304a\u3051\u308bICT\u6d3b\u7528\u3001\u6559\u8077\u5b9f\u8df5\u6f14\u7fd2\u3001\u6559\u80b2\u5b9f\u7fd2\u4e8b\u524d\u4e8b\u5f8c\u6307\u5c0e\u3001\u6559\u80b2\u5b9f\u7fd2\u3001\u5c02\u9580\u6f14\u7fd2 and \u5352\u696d\u7814\u7a76. Andrew Zitzmann<\/strong> \u2014 I\u2019m from Montreal, Canada and have been in Japan since 1992. I joined Seinan Jo in 2018 and currently teach \u82f1\u8a9e\u30b3\u30df\u30e5\u30cb\u30b1\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u3001\u6b27\u7c73\u6587\u5316\u4ea4\u6d41\u7814\u4fee\u3001\u30b0\u30ed\u30fc\u30d0\u30eb\u82f1\u8a9eI\u3001English Extension, \u30a8\u30ea\u30a2\u30b9\u30bf\u30c7\u30a3II\u3001\u82f1\u8a9e\u30d7\u30ed\u30b8\u30a7\u30af\u30c8II\u3001\u5c02\u9580 and \u5352\u696d\u7814\u7a76.
