2022 Report

After a 2-year break because of COVID-19, we were finally able to hold our annual English Camp for our Year 1 & 2 students. This camp offers students the chance to bond with other year groups and staff while also improving their English skills. On the Friday afternoon, we held a range of activities, including our popular “Egg Drop Contest”, followed by a vocabulary quiz, and “finding information about the teachers” challenge, and finally a short Ukrainian-language lesson. After dinner, we held our skit contest with all students putting on performances of classic stories with a twist. COVID-19の影響で2年間お休みしていた1年生と2年生のイングリッシュキャンプをようやく開催することができました。このキャンプでは、他の学年やスタッフとの絆を深めながら、英語のスキルを向上させる機会を提供しています。金曜日の午後は、人気の “Egg Drop Contest “をはじめ、単語クイズや “Finding information about the teachers “に挑戦し、最後にウクライナ語のショートレッスンを行いました。夕食後には寸劇コンテストを行い、全生徒が演技を披露しました。

On Day 2, after breakfast the students took part in a postcard writing activity before boarding the buses to Daizaifu where they could wander around while completing an activity. Finally we returned wearily to Kitakyushu before being dropped off at Kokura Station. Lots of fun, plus a wonderful chance to make new friends. 2日目は、朝食後、ハガキを書くアクティビティに参加した後、大宰府行きのバスに乗り込み、アクティビティをこなしながらぶらぶらしました。最後に北九州に戻り、小倉駅まで送ってもらいました。とても楽しく、また新しい友人を作る素晴らしい機会となりました。
