Use A.I.; Don’t Let It Use You! AIを使おう!でも使い方には注意
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly changing the way we live, work, and learn. From everyday apps and machine translation to personalized learning and writing support, AI has become a familiar part of student life. In this lecture, I will focus on how AI—specifically ChatGPT—can be used to support English learning. I will demonstrate practical examples of its benefits, such as helping students express their ideas when writing English essays and practicing English conversation. At the same time, I will address the risks of relying too heavily on AI, including concerns about accuracy, overdependence, and the loss of critical thinking. The goal is to encourage students to become smart users of AI—using it effectively, but not being controlled by it.
