Exploring the World Through Nature

Nigel Stott

November 19, from 16:20 in Room 6206

Since the age of 18, when I travelled around Europe by myself for three weeks, I have been seriously addicted to exploring the world. More than that, I want to go to wild places and have adventures in nature—climbing mountains, hiking in deserts, scuba-diving, and getting lost in jungles. In this presentation, I will show some of the over 150,000 photos I’ve taken, and tell you a few stories of my adventures. I hope it will inspire you to have a few adventures for yourself.

About Nigel Stott:

I used to work as a zoologist and biology teacher in the UK, but I’ve ended up as an English teacher here in Japan. I teach at three universities and run study trips to the UK for Japanese students. I live in Munakata with my Japanese wife and 16-year-old son, while my 19-year-old daughter is a student at Kobe University.
