2025 English Camp
4/9-4/10 at Hotel Nishinagato Resort in Yamaguchi
We ate too much, we laughed a lot, we wrote postcards, and we got to know each other better. Thanks to all the students and teachers who made this yearâs camp such a success! In particular, thanks to Laurie and Paul, our friends from Vancouver Island University in Canada for joining us on camp – we loved having you with us.
On Day 1, our students all took part in âSeijo-Lympicsâ – this was a set of 6 team building activities. The first 5 activities used English to complete some tasks, and we finished with a dance contest. Lots of fun, and a great start to the camp!
Always on the first night of camp, we hold an English Skit Contest. All the groups of students have been planning 8-minute skits before camp which they perform on stage after dinner. They are always very funny, and everyone laughs a lot. [Watch the skits on YouTube]
On the second day of camp, we visited Motonosumi Shrine å ä¹é ç¥ç€Ÿ. It was wild and windy, but we still managed to enjoy walking through all the torii gates and appreciating the view – plus we took lots of pictures, of course!
