Every year, our English Department takes the 1st and 2nd Year students for a 2-day “English Camp.” This year, we travelled to the Nishi-Nagato Resort Hotel in Yamaguchi Prefecture. These were some of the highlights of our trip:
- A visit to the Shimonoseki “Kaikyoukan” Aquarium
- A Scavenger Hunt activity on the hotel grounds
- Eating a delicious dinner together
- Night-time performances by all classes and faculty
- Morning lectures by Theresa Meyer, Debbie Thompson, and Miho Harada
- Shopping at Kaisenmura Kitanagato
- Visiting the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum
- …and lots of chances to talk, laugh, and generally have fun!
