On June 21, we held our 2nd English Lecture for the year, with once again our resident Winchester University students lecturing on various aspects of British culture. Before the lectures, Satoko, Akiho, Shiori, Emi, and Madoka—5 of our students who studied one semester in the UK last year—talked about their experiences at Winchester University. Joanna started off the main lecture with a talk on university team sports, focusing on women’s rugby. This was followed by Sophie, who introduced British fashion, and then Alice gave a brief outline of the British monarchy. Finally, Gemma presented on the British film industry.
