1. An introduction to TEDTalks: What they are and how you can use them in your English studies.
2. Candy Chang: “Before I die I want to…” In her New Orleans neighborhood, Ms. Chang turned an abandoned house into a giant chalkboard asking a fill-in-the-blank question: “Before I die I want to ___.”
EVENING 2: Wednesday, May 21 from 18:00 in Room 527 (Note: date change!)
Amy Cuddy: Your body language shapes who you are: Body language affects how others see us, but it may also change how we see ourselves. Ms. Cuddy shows how “power posing” can affect testosterone and cortisol levels in the brain, and might even have an impact on our chances for success.
