2015 Christmas Intensive
On December 5th, we held our 10th Christmas Intensive—a day on which our first-year student spend a Saturday on a Christmas theme. The students are divided into 4 groups, and each group gets to spend 50 minutes with one teacher doing a Christmas-related activity. This year our activities were:
- Andrew Zitzmann: Making Christmas cards
- Dennis Woolbright: Singing Christmas carols
- Paul Collett: Christmas picture vocab activity
- Lisa Barker: Making Christmas wreaths
At lunchtime, we all gathered together to share a lunch prepared by Malcolm and 4 senior students (thanks Yurina, Miyuki, Ayako, and Yuka!). Then, at the end of the day Santa arrives to deliver the Secret Santa gifts that the students had prepared. A very busy, exhausting, but extremely enjoyable day!
