Ninety English Department students, staff, and visitors enjoyed 4 lectures by our resident University of Winchester students. Katy Ryan began with a presentation on festivals in Britain, followed by Toni Ellison, who gave us a lesson on good manners. Then, Cheyenne Adams offered us a colourful look at multicultural London, with Rachel Morrison finishing the lectures with a comparison of British and Japanese foods. To thank them for their work, we presented them with a handmade inkan (personal seal), then took a group photo with all the participants.
