Thursday, July 18, 4:20 – 5:50 in Room 6206

As English Department students who are studying a foreign language, you probably often think about studying or even working abroad. This month’s lecture will give you an opportunity to see two views of an overseas experience.

shoko1. Studying at Arizona State University, USA—Shoko Amioka (3rd Year student)

In the second semester of 2012, Ms. Amioka traveled to the US to spend 6 months studying and home staying in Arizona. In this lecture, she will discuss her reasons for going there, her experiences in the universities, and her reactions to a new culture and lifestyle. This will be of great interest to anyone considering a long-term study abroad experience.
