On January 7, we had a visit from seven JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) trainees who are in Kitakyushu for 45 days. During their visit, students from Ms Tsukamoto and Mr Swanson’s seminar classes taught some calligraphy, origami, about ‘osechi’, and a simple dance. It was a great opportunity for both sides to share their cultures.
