On Saturday, February 9, eight students and Malcolm Swanson departed Japan for Timaru, New Zealand. It was a touch-and-go start because our original flight was cancelled due to snow. However, we finally arrived in sunny Timaru. The students have spent the last few days having orientations and guided tours, and began their classes today. In the evenings, they go home to experience New Zealand life with their homestay family.
