JICA participants’ visit

This morning, we were lucky enough to host a group of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) participants who are currently training in Kitakyushu. These people come from all over the world, and attend programmes here to learn technical skills to take back home. Our group included people from Botswana, China, Egypt, India, Mongolia, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Uruguay, and Vietnam. This morning, Prof. Yokomizo’s Japanese Education students gave them pronunciation lessons, and this was followed by students from our Golden Z club who taught them some origami. 北九州で研修を受けているJICAの研修員のみなさん（9名）が、本学にいらっしゃいました。研修員のみなさんは、環境問題を改善するための技術を母国に持ち帰るために、世界中から集まり共同学習をなさっています。日本語教育法演習 II を履修している学生が日本語の発音レッスンを行った後、Golden Z Club のメンバーが一緒に折り紙でカブトを作成しました。とても楽しく有益な時間を過ごすことができました。
