Teaching origami in Australia

A report from Nanami Mineyama—one of our English Department students currently volunteering as an assistant Japanese teacher in Toowoomba, Australia

I am teaching origami at Japanese Club every Thursday morning tea for the primary students. Today, we made Hello Kitty! About 20 sutudents came to the Japanese class room, even though it was at morning tea time. Teaching origami in English is a little bit hard for me, but I am enjoying Japanese Club! Look my picture! The students are very cute, aren’t they?
