International Food Event

Today’s challenge in our Area Studies class was for each student to choose a different country and to prepare a dish from that country to bring to school and share with everyone. They also had to explain something about the dish—its background, how it was made, and its place in the culture. The results were 15 very different dishes from all over the world, and each of them were delicious! By the time we had sampled all the food, we were packed full. A great class, and the students really showed how they could rise to the challenge.
