StarFlyer Training Day

  10月20日（日）に北九州空港にあるスターフライヤー航空の訓練施設を訪れました。航空機のモックアップに入り、ドリンクサービスや機内アナウンスの練習を行いました。また、CAや地上スタッフ、広報スタッフの方々との座談会があり、航空業界で働く魅力や学生のうちにすべきことなど、たくさんお話を聞くことができました。航空業界のキャリアパスに関するお話も伺いました。格納庫の見学では、飛行機の離着陸を滑走路のすぐそばから見る鳥肌が立つような素敵な体験をしました。関わってくださったたくさんのスタッフの皆さん、ありがとうございました！

On October 20, our students and teachers traveled out to Kitakyushu Airport to enjoy an afternoon at StarFlyer Airline’s training facility. After meeting the staff, we entered their aircraft mockup where the students practiced serving drinks and giving announcements over the intercom. Following that, we had a chance to interview StarFlyer staff (some of whom were graduates of Seinan Jo Gakuin), including CAs, ground staff, and promotional staff. There was also a talk on “What do you want to be?”, focusing on career paths in the airline business. Finally, we had a tour of the aircraft hanger, the highlight of which was watching planes take off and land from beside the runway. A very enjoyable and educational experience!
