Cambodia Students on Campus

On January 10, we welcomed Aliza and Lyda, two university students from Cambodia. They arrived in Kitakyushu this morning right after a big snowstorm, so it felt very cold to them. This afternoon they visited our university to take part in a class with our English Department student. Because of the snow, we had to hold it online, but they enjoyed chatting with each other, learning about each other’s countries. They will stay in Kitakyushu for two day, spending time with our Year 1 students. They will visit many places around Kitakyushu and enjoy our local foods. We are very happy to have them with us!

1月10日、カンボジアから2人の大学生、アリザとリダを迎えました。彼らは今朝、大雪の後に北九州に到着したので、とても寒く感じたようです。今日の午後、二人は本学を訪れ、英語学科の学生の授業に参加しました。雪のため、オンライン授業となりましたが、お互いの国について学び、おしゃべりを楽しみました。2日間北九州に滞在し、1年生と一緒に過ごす予定です。北九州近郊の様々な場所を訪れ、地元の料理を楽しむ予定です。私たちは、彼女たちが北九州に来てくれたことをとても嬉しく思っています！
